Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Grant, Kay Counties Expired

The Severe Thunderstorm Warning previously issued for Grant and Kay Counties has expired as of 7:30 PM CDT on Thursday, September 19, 2026. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Norman reports that the storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits.

While the immediate severe threat has passed, residents in the affected areas should be aware that gusty winds are still possible with these thunderstorms. Continue to exercise caution and monitor local weather conditions.
