Hopewell Preschool Academy: Pompano Beach Tuition & Admissions

Pompano Beach families seeking early childhood education can explore Hopewell Preschool Academy (HPA), which offers a Christ-centered environment alongside a structured curriculum for children up to age 10.

Weekly tuition ranges from $175 for infants to $125 for Pre-school 4 students. VPK Wrap Around care costs $90 weekly; the standard VPK program is free. After-school care for children aged 5-10 costs $110 per week. An annual, non-refundable $100 registration fee was due in August. A $100 matriculation fee applies to Nursery 2 through Pre-K students.

Admission requires a Child Enrollment Card (Form No. 1), signed information sheets, and up-to-date health records from a physician, including Forms No. 3040 and 680 for Student Health Examination and Immunization Records, as mandated by the Health Department. HPA mandates uniforms, and students must arrive in proper attire. The academy reserves the right to refuse admission if a child's educational needs would create a student ratio hardship or require special staff training.

HPA's curriculum incorporates A-Beka, Bob Jones, Creative Curriculum, and High Reach Curriculum. The academy aims to educate each child spiritually, academically, socially, and physically, based on God's Word. Daily devotion runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., with chapel every Friday.

Tuition includes meals: breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. HPA also provides free transportation for after-school students in grades K-5 from Sanders Park, Palm View, Markham, Charles Drew, Deerfield Park, Deerfield, and Tedder Elementary schools.

HPA operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. School begins at 8:30 a.m., VPK at 9:00 a.m. All children must arrive by 9:15 a.m., with exceptions for documented doctor's appointments. No child is accepted after 11:00 a.m.

The academy observes holiday closings including New Year’s Day, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Good Friday, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following day, and Christmas. HPA also closes the week before school begins and the week of Christmas.
