Lake Hamilton Commission to Vote on Golf Cart Ordinance Repeal

The Lake Hamilton Town Commission will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Oct. 15 at Town Hall, 100 Smith Ave., to consider repealing an ordinance concerning golf carts and other low-speed vehicles. The proposed repeal, Ordinance 2024-10, would undo Ordinance 2024-08. The commission will discuss new regulations for these vehicles.

Residents may attend the hearing to share their views. A copy of proposed Ordinance 2024-10 is available for review at Town Hall, 100 Smith Ave., during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Those wishing to appeal any commission decision should ensure a verbatim record of proceedings, including testimony and evidence, as required by Florida Statute 286.0105.
