A Red Flag Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, WY, effective from noon to 7 PM MDT on Friday, October 9. Outdoor burning is not recommended during this period due to severe fire conditions.

The warning affects Pine Ridge/Nebraska National Forest; Niobrara/Lower Elevations of Converse/Thunder Basin National Grassland; Middle North Platte River Basin/Niobrara and Converse High Plains; North Laramie Range and Adjacent High Plains; North Laramie Valley/Shirley Basin; Ferris/Seminoe/Shirley Mountains; Central and West Carbon; Upper North Platte River Basin; and North Snowy Range Foothills; Bordeaux/Chugwater/Wheatland. Specific Fire Weather Zones impacted are 417 through 422, 425, 427, and 432.
