A 42-year-old Wimauma man, previously convicted of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) offenses, faces new charges after his arrest Sept. 30, 2026. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) took the man into custody following a court-authorized search warrant executed at his residence.
Detectives from the HCSO's Special Victims Unit led the investigation. The man was reportedly on probation for previous CSAM-related offenses, and this arrest suggests a potential violation of those terms.
Authorities have not yet released the suspect's name or further details regarding the alleged offenses or evidence gathered during the search.
The HCSO continues its efforts to combat child exploitation. Residents with information regarding potential child exploitation activities should contact the HCSO.
