Hey hey, holy mackerel, heaven just got the world’s biggest Cub fan. We lost Mike W. Johnson on June 2nd, but he is reunited with his beloved Cathy (Basil) and is now organizing a pool party beyond the pearly gates. Mike was born in Chicago and then lived in Frankfort. A proud Marine veteran, Mike worked for 45 years as a union man. His countless friends , family and garden will miss him terribly but we all know we will meet up with him and get greeted by a clap, a hug and his unforgettable smile. We know he will have the music playing, the bags court set up and the lights on in the backyard. Devoted father of Michaela (Marco) Aguirre, proud grandfather of Michael. Husband of the love of his life, the late Cathy Johnson. Dearest brother of the late Jacqueline (late James) Slawnikowski, Robert (Nancy) Johnson and Diane (late James) Buoscio. Beloved brother in law of Gretchen Schroeter, Dorie (Steve) Piorkowski, Nancy (late John) Fase and William (Jeri) Vincent. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Adeline Johnson. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Veterans Hospital.
