Broncos Aim to Bolster Tight End Production with Youth and Veteran Mix

Denver seeks to improve tight end production this season. The Broncos hope a blend of youth and experience will address the position's shortcomings regarding pass-catching ability, which has been an issue for several years.

The team has focused on developing younger players during training camp while working to maximize the contributions of veteran tight ends. This approach aims to create a more dynamic and productive unit that provides quarterback Russell Wilson with additional targets in the passing game. Wilson's ability to connect with his tight ends will be a key factor in the team's offensive success.

The Broncos' coaching staff is implementing new strategies to better utilize the tight ends in different formations and play calls. This includes route combinations designed to exploit defensive mismatches and create opportunities for yards after the catch. The team anticipates that this renewed emphasis on the tight end position will lead to increased scoring opportunities.
