The Town of Davie’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department will host a free Movies in the Park series this fall, offering residents family-friendly entertainment under the stars. The series begins in October and runs through December 2026, with screenings held on select Fridays at the Bamford Sports Complex.

Movies will be shown on the Padre and Mariner fields at the Bamford Sports Complex, located at 3801 S. Pine Island Road. Gates open at 6 p.m., allowing attendees to find their spots and settle in before each movie starts promptly at 7 p.m. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and residents should bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for comfort.

The lineup includes Disney’s Encanto on October 16, Disney’s Toy Story 5 on November 13, and Christmas Chronicles 2 on December 18. Two Men and a Truck will provide free popcorn for moviegoers at each event. Movie dates and times are subject to change, so residents should check for updates.

For event parking, attendees should use the park’s main entrance off Pine Island Road, where free parking will be available throughout the park. For additional information or any changes to the schedule, residents can visit www.davie-fl.gov/Movie or call the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Department at 954-797-1181.
