José Parlá: Echo of Impressions 23 January – 2 March 2024 Palm Beach Ben Brown Fine Arts is pleased to present ‘José Parlá: Echo of Impressions’, an exhibition of new paintings and sculptures by the celebrated Cuban-American artist. Characterised by layered surfaces of vibrant colour, gestural marks and textured collage, Parlá’s works evoke the energy of the urban environment. Inspired by city walls and the built environment, Parlá captures the essence of places he has lived and travelled, from Havana to Miami, New York to Istanbul. The artist’s distinctive visual language combines abstract expressionism with street art aesthetics to create dynamic compositions that resonate with history, memory, and human experience.
