The Pinellas Park Planning & Zoning Commission meets the first Thursday of each month to review significant development proposals and land use changes. The commission convenes at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, located at 5141 78th Ave N, Pinellas Park, FL, 33781.
The commission examines requests for amendments to the Land Use Plan Map and the Zoning Code. They also consider conditional uses, variances, changes to nonconforming uses, and property vacations. As the city's Local Planning Agency, the board addresses matters concerning the administration of the city's Comprehensive Plan.
Seven regular members, appointed by the City Council and residents of Pinellas Park, serve three-year terms. Their recommendations guide the City Council on development and zoning decisions.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for October 2, 2026. Residents can find more information on the city's official website or by contacting the planning department.
