Pinellas Park homeowners and businesses can apply for grants to fund exterior appearance and accessibility upgrades. The city offers several programs to enhance the community and support local enterprises.

Homeowners in Pinellas Park city limits with a homestead exemption and meeting specific income requirements may apply for the Home Improvement Grant. This grant assists with projects improving home exteriors and accessibility.

Businesses within the Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) can access the CRA Façade Improvement Grant Program. This program supports enhancements such as exterior lighting, landscaping, benches, bicycle racks, public art, entrance doors, windows, parking lot repaving, and ADA compliance modifications. Independent businesses within the CRA boundaries are encouraged to apply.

Independent businesses throughout Pinellas Park city limits may also be eligible for the Citywide Façade Improvement Grant Program. This grant covers similar improvements, including exterior lighting, landscaping, benches, bicycle racks, public art, entrances, windows, and ADA compliance.

The CRA also offers a Demolition Grant for properties within its boundaries that are uninhabitable or beyond repair. Residential sites can receive up to 50% of demolition costs, not exceeding $5,000. Commercial sites may be eligible for a 50% award, capped at $20,000.

A similar Citywide Demolition Grant is available for properties within the entire city of Pinellas Park. This grant also provides up to 50% of demolition costs, with a maximum of $5,000 for residential sites and $20,000 for commercial sites.

Application forms and further details regarding eligibility and procedures are available online.
