Oldsmar residents can find a healthy alternative to spooky Halloween festivities on Saturday, Oct. 31, with T'ai Chi Chih and badminton sessions at the Cypress Forest Recreation Center. The Parks & Recreation Department is hosting these activities throughout the day.

The day begins with an advanced T'ai Chi Chih session from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a general class from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. These sessions promote balance, flexibility and mindfulness through gentle, flowing movements.

In the afternoon, the recreation center offers a badminton session from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. This provides an energetic way for residents to stay active. Participants should bring their own equipment if possible.

These events are part of the Oldsmar Parks & Recreation Department's ongoing programming to enhance community well-being.
