Oldsmar October 14: Activities for All Ages at Library, Rec Center

Oldsmar residents can choose from a variety of activities on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, including youth programs, senior fitness and dog training. The Oldsmar Library and the Cypress Forest Recreation Center will host most of the day's events.

The Oldsmar Library's Storytime Room features a Baby Sign Language session from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Later, the library hosts a Pokemon Club for ages 6-13 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

The Cypress Forest Recreation Center offers Senior Sit & Fit from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Younger children can participate in Tiny Tot Sports during the same hour. Indoor Pickleball runs from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Evening programs at the Cypress Forest Recreation Center include Star Puppy Dog Training from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Youth classes start at 6:30 PM, including Basketball Academy for ages 5-11, Drawing & Cartooning, and Hip Hop.

The Oldsmar Sports Complex's Outdoor Hockey Rink hosts Youth Ball Hockey Play & Learn sessions. Ages 7-9 play from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM, and ages 10-15 play from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM. Advanced Theater Dance and Basketball Academy for ages 12-16 run from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Cypress Forest Recreation Center.
