Island Players Announce 2026-2027 Board of Directors
The Island Players has announced its 2026-2027 Board of Directors, with Sylvia Marnie as Executive Director and Denise Handley as Board President. The group also recognized three Honorary Lifetime Board Members.

Anna Maria, FL - The Island Players, a community theater group located at 10009 Gulf Drive, has announced its Board of Directors for the 2026-2027 season. Sylvia Marnie will serve as Executive Director, leading the organization's operations and artistic direction.
Denise Handley will serve as President of the Board. Ellen Devine is the new Recording Secretary and also serves as President of the Off Stage Ladies, a supporting group for The Island Players.
The 2026-2027 Board Members include Rita Lamoreux, Dan Coppinger and Laura Morales. These individuals will guide the theater through its upcoming season and ensure the delivery of quality productions and community engagement.
The Island Players also named Linda Davis, Peg Faarup and Ruth Stevens as Honorary Lifetime Board Members, recognizing their long-standing dedication and significant contributions to the organization.
