Hurricane Prep Expo St. Petersburg May 27

St. Petersburg residents can meet with city officials and gather hurricane supplies at Lake Vista Park on May 27 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Mayor Ken Welch and St. Pete Fire Rescue are hosting the free event at 1401 62nd Ave. S. Attendees will receive hurricane preparedness supplies and information on evacuation planning, storm safety and emergency response. City officials will answer questions and discuss concerns about hurricane readiness.

Community partners will share information about local resources and support services.

The event combines the Hurricane Preparedness Expo with City Hall on Tour, which brings city leadership into neighborhoods for direct engagement.
