Fiesta Somos St. Pete Returns to Pier Plaza Oct. 4

The City of St. Petersburg, in partnership with Mi Gente Mi Pueblo and Pier Events, LLC, will host the second annual Fiesta “Somos St. Pete” on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the St. Pete Pier Plaza. The event celebrates Hispanic culture, cuisine and community during Hispanic Heritage Month.

Attendees can enjoy dance lessons, live music and family-friendly activities. DJ Curator will emcee the event, featuring performances by Latin bands La Lucha, DMQ cover band and 813 P.R.oject, which offers a Puerto Rican percussion experience.

Local vendors will offer Latin-owned eats, including Aztec Tamales, Latin Lunch Box, Main Street Boys Empanadas and Happy Snapper. The fiesta also includes local artists selling handmade goods and artwork, and community resource tables connecting attendees with Pinellas County organizations and services.
