Clearwater City Hall officially opened its doors today at its new downtown location, 200 S. Myrtle Ave. This move centralizes several key city departments, aiming to streamline operations for residents and city staff.
The City Manager’s Office, City Council, City Attorney’s Office, City Clerk’s Office, Human Resources, and Public Communications have all relocated to the new facility. This consolidation brings many of the city's administrative functions under one roof, making it easier for residents to access services and interact with city officials.
Despite the relocation of these departments, City Council meetings and advisory board meetings will continue to be held at the Clearwater Main Library. This arrangement remains in place while the finishing touches are completed at the new City Hall building, ensuring continuity for public participation in local governance.
Residents needing to conduct business with the City Manager’s Office, City Attorney’s Office, City Clerk’s Office, Human Resources, or Public Communications should now direct their inquiries and visits to the new address on S. Myrtle Ave. The city will announce any changes regarding meeting locations once the new City Hall is fully prepared to host public gatherings.
