Achieva Credit Union has launched Smartvest, a new digital investing platform accessible through its mobile banking app for members in Pinellas County. The platform offers personalized trading tools for investors of all experience levels.

Smartvest provides two investment options. The 'INVEST' account allows members to select investments, trade stocks in real-time with fractional shares, and build portfolios commission-free. The 'GOALS' account offers personalized investment strategies based on financial objectives, with automatic portfolio rebalancing for a 0.60% annual management fee.

The platform includes features like fractional shares, enabling investment in stocks and ETFs with as little as $5. A practice trading environment with virtual money allows users to test strategies. The auto-invest feature facilitates recurring contributions to build a portfolio over time.

Smartvest integrates directly into the Achieva Mobile Banking app, keeping funds within the Achieva ecosystem. Achieva assures members they will receive the same member-focused care and guidance.

Achieva Credit Union advises that Smartvest services are provided through Tapp Engine or its affiliates, which are separate entities. Achieva is not a registered broker-dealer or investment advisor. Investments made through Smartvest are not credit union deposits, are not insured by the NCUA, and are not guaranteed by the credit union. Investments are subject to risk and may lose value.

Achieva Credit Union branches will be closed Monday, Oct. 12, for Columbus Day.
