Notice of Public Hearing Ordinance 2024-11 Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, at the Village Hall Council Chambers, 501 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach, Florida, at 7:00 p.m. on July 18, 2024, to consider the adoption of Ordinance 2024-11. The title of the proposed ordinance is as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE VIII, DIVISION 2, SECTION 2-308 OF THE VILLAGE CODE ENTITLED “REQUIRED CONTRIBUTION RATE” TO PROVIDE FOR AN INCREASE TO THE POLICE PENSION PLAN’S REQUIRED CONTRIBUTION RATE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for inspection at the office of the Village Clerk, 501 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach, Florida, 33408, during regular business hours.
