Support from Del Pueblo Makes Impact for Young Burn Survivors
We are thrilled to share the outstanding success of Del Pueblo’s Yuma Children’s Burn Survivor Charity initiative this year. Thanks to the generosity of our members, our community raised an impressive $18,000, exceeding our initial goal of $10,000. On top of that, a private donor pledged an additional $10,000 once the goal was reached, bringing the total contribution to over $28,000 – the largest in Del Pueblo’s history and the most significant donation ever received by the Yuma Burn Survivors organization. This remarkable achievement is more than double our previous best year.

In the attached photo, Mr. and Mrs. DeBoer, our generous $10,000 donors, are pictured with Winston, a young burn survivor who endured a serious injury years ago. Winston’s infectious smile, love for baseball, and positive spirit truly captured everyone’s hearts. This milestone underscores the incredible generosity and dedication of the Del Pueblo community and staff, whose efforts made this achievement possible. Thank you for your continued support in making a meaningful difference in the lives of child burn survivors.
