View Job Openings in Pima County The Pima County Department of Community & Workforce Development (CWD), the Pima County Workforce Investment Board (WIB), and the ARIZONA@WORK Pima County One-Stop partner with businesses, community organizations, government and economic entities, education and training institutions, and faith-based groups to efficiently deliver services by having common goals and measures for success. By offering high-quality services, referrals, and training, One-Stop's customer-focused delivery network enhances long-term employment outcomes for individuals receiving assistance. Pima County's CWD is a One-Stop service provider for the Title I-B Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth programs and activities as defined by the Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act. CWD administers these programs to improve the economic and social sustainability of Pima County by: Developing skilled workers for quality jobs Assisting employers to address workforce and recruitment needs through its Business Services team Mitigating the impact of layoffs Assisting households in financial crisis Helping persons with barriers, such as homelessness and lack of literacy, to transition into our economic talent pool The One-Stop Kino Center has been designated to assist workers who have been laid off (dislocated workers) and veterans. Adult job seekers are served at the Northwest Service Center One-Stop, the Youth Employment Center provides workforce and education services for young people ages 14 to 24, and the One-Stop Sullivan Jackson Employment Center assists homeless youth and adults. CWD also offers Resource Navigators throughout Pima County, meeting you where you live to provide wraparound services. Find a Resource Navigator near you. Three Tiers of Service Are Offered Employment ResourcesLabor Market Information, Job Banks, On-Line and virtual job matching, job leads, workshops, resume assistance, career counseling. You can subscribe to weekly emails for up-to-date information. Intensive Career ServicesServices include vocational assessment, individualized career planning, pre-vocational adult education, job search and placement. TrainingTraining opportunities may be available to eligible participants who need specific credentials and training to retain or obtain employment. More than 300 occupational training programs are available with additional activities like On-The-Job Training, Apprenticeships, and more!
