Residents in Southwest Phillips County are advised to prepare for slippery road conditions and reduced visibility as a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Glasgow, MT, anticipates wet snow beginning Sunday, October 11, at noon MDT, and continuing until Monday, October 12, at noon MDT.

Total snow accumulations are expected to range from 1 to 4 inches, with higher elevations in the Little Rockies potentially seeing the greatest amounts. These conditions are particularly concerning for Sunday night.

The NWS urges all travelers to slow down and exercise extreme caution while on the roads during this period. For the most current road conditions, residents can call 511.
