Meadville Spring Clean Up Day Announced for 2026

"The annual City of Meadville Clean-Up Day is Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 8am - 12pm at the City's Public Works Garage,  1340 South Cottage St. The garage is accessible from Clark Rd., where it intersects with US Route 322 south of Channellock. Signs will be posted advising drivers where to go. Public Works employees will be on hand to assist with directing traffic and unloading vehicles.Each vehicle load is $10.00, and proof of residency is required.Accepted Items: Construction materials (bricks, concrete blocks, shingles, dried paint cans, etc.) Mattresses Batteries of all types Yard waste & organic materials (keep separate from other debris) Not Accepted Items: Electronics (TVs, phones, computers, monitors, etc.) Fluorescent light bulbs Liquids including paint and household chemicals Tires Junk vehicles Household trash Clothing Appliances with freon Thermostats containing mercury "
