Port St. Lucie Celebrates St. Patrick's Day with Festival and Parade

The City of Port St. Lucie will host its annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center, located at 9201 SE Civic Center Place.
The parade will kick off the festival on Saturday, March 16, at 11 a.m. traveling west on Port St. Lucie Boulevard from the corner of US 1 to the Civic Center. This year’s Grand Marshal is the 2023 Daughters of Ireland, who will lead the way as local schools, businesses, organizations and more march in the parade, celebrating the Irish heritage and culture.
Following the parade, enjoy live music from U2 by UV, The Screaming Orphans, and Derek Warfield & The Young Wolfe Tones. On Sunday, the festival continues with performances from Celtic Stew, and The Byrne Brothers. The festival will also feature Irish dancers, a variety of food vendors, arts and crafts, and a kids zone with carnival rides and games. Admission is free, and parking is available at the Civic Center and surrounding areas.
“We are excited to bring back the St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade to Port St. Lucie again this year,” said Port St. Lucie Parks & Recreation Director Sherman Brown. “This event is a great opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate Irish culture and heritage. We encourage everyone to wear their green and join us for a weekend of fun.”

Volunteers Needed for Cleanup at Girl Scout Friendship Park
"Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful (KPSLB) is calling on the community to help make a difference in a morning at the Caring Community Cleanup Day at Girl Scout Friendship Park on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Volunteers are needed to enhance the park’s beauty and usability. Activities include painting, planting, weeding and general cleanup of the park, located at 601 SE Dink Ct.
KPSLB will provide gloves, garbage bags, painting supplies and necessary tools. Volunteers should wear appropriate attire, closed toe shoes and sun protection. This is a great opportunity for students to earn community service hours.
