A Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington DC, urging residents in Western Garrett County, Maryland, and Western Grant and Western Pendleton Counties, West Virginia, to prepare for strong winds.

East winds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected to begin at 8 PM this evening, October 10th, and continue until 11 AM EDT Sunday, October 11th.

These conditions could make driving difficult, particularly for high-profile vehicles. Unsecured outdoor objects may be blown around, and there is a possibility of tree limbs being downed, which could lead to isolated power outages.

Residents are advised to use extra caution, especially when driving. Secure any loose outdoor items to prevent damage or injury. Stay informed by monitoring local news and weather updates from the National Weather Service.
