In this role, she will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the healthcare system’s relationships with government officials and community organizations.
Miramar, FL – Memorial Healthcare System has named Keshia Young as Vice President of Government Relations and Community Affairs. In this role, she will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the healthcare system’s relationships with government officials and community organizations. “Keshia is a highly respected and experienced government relations and community affairs professional,” said Aurelio M. Fernandez, III, FACHE, President and CEO of Memorial Healthcare System. “We are excited to have her join our team and lead our efforts to build strong relationships with our community partners and elected officials.” Young has more than 15 years of experience in government relations, community engagement, and public policy. Prior to joining Memorial Healthcare System, she served as Director of Government Relations at Broward College. She also worked as a legislative aide in the Florida House of Representatives. Young earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida A&M University and a Master of Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
