Pasco County Water & Wastewater Rates Increase Oct. 1, 2026

Pasco County Utilities customers will see changes to their water, wastewater, and reclaimed water bills beginning Oct. 1, 2026. The adjustments are part of a four-year rate schedule that started in October 2025, following a Cost-of-Service Rate Study approved by the Pasco Board of County Commissioners.

The average residential customer using 6,000 gallons of water and wastewater per month will see their bill increase from $91.99 to $96.32. This $4.33 increase supports the operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of the county's water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems.

Reclaimed water customers will also experience adjustments. The base charge, including the first 8,000 gallons, will rise from $12.66 to $13.26 per month. Usage beyond 8,000 gallons will increase from $1.27 to $1.33 per 1,000 gallons up to 13,000 gallons. For usage over 13,000 gallons, the rate will increase from $2.17 to $2.27 per 1,000 gallons. The Backflow Prevention Device fee will increase from $6.89 to $7.22 monthly.

The current four-year rate schedule, with projected annual adjustments, continues through Sept. 30, 2029. Pasco County officials say these investments maintain high-quality service. A full list of rates and fees is available on the Pasco County Utilities website.
