Pasco County Court-Date Text Alerts Now Available
Pasco County residents can now receive text and email reminders about their court dates through e-Notify, a notification system developed by Florida's clerks of court and state courts system.
Pasco Clerk & Comptroller Nikki Alvarez-Sowles encourages defendants and the public to register at https://www.enotify.flcourts.org. Users choose to receive alerts via email, text, or both, with reminders arriving 14 days, seven days, or one day before a court event.
"e-Notify is a valuable resource for parties, the public, and media to be informed about upcoming hearings and other court events," Alvarez-Sowles said. "It works similarly to receiving a text or email to remind you of a doctor's appointment."
The system serves defendants in criminal cases and anyone tracking case events. Jurisdictions using similar alert systems have seen significant reductions in missed court dates, which can result in arrest warrants and additional justice system costs. Users can manage multiple cases and adjust alert preferences at any time.
