Gardening 365 Festival & Plant Sale provides YOU the opportunity to meet with and purchase a wide variety of vendors providing plants, garden tools, yard art, apparel, décor and so much more! UF/IFAS Pasco County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers, community partners and other experts will be available to answer all your gardening questions and hopefully teach you something new! 2026 will be our 10th Annual event! We are excited to host Gardening 365 Festival & Plant Sale the first Saturday each October at Wesley Chapel District Park. October 3, 2026 Wesley Chapel District Park | 7727 Boyette Rd, Wesley Chapel, FL. 33545 This year we are sure to have: Free Parking Ladybug Sales Live Butterfly Display Kids’ Zone with Make and Take Crafts and Games Food & Drink Vendors Community Partners & Sponsors And SO much more! Master Gardener Volunteers Master Gardener Volunteers (MGV) are adult volunteers recruited and trained by county extension agents and University of Florida specialists to provide assistance in Extension home horticultural programs. Through this program, enthusiastic gardeners study such areas as botany, horticulture, soil science, and plant and insect identification and management. The Florida Master Gardener Volunteer Program is administered by the Cooperative Extension Service, a part of the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.Ask a Master Gardener Popular questions for our MGV range from “What is this insect on my plant?” to “What is this plant that’s popped up in my yard?” You may reach a MGV by calling 352.518.0156), stopping by the office or sending an email to: [email protected]. Master Gardener Volunteers can also be found in person monthly at the following locations: Canterbury Farms Nursery & Garden Center | Third Thursdays | 10 a.m. -12 p.m. Wesley Chapel District Park | Last Saturdays | 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Seminars & Workshops You can learn from MGV and ask questions at seminars around the county. Becoming MGV You are required to attend The Meet & Greet - a mandatory informational session covering training, volunteering and requirements. The training itself is 10-12 weeks long and meets once a week, in-person. There are annual requirements to remain certified, trained volunteers.
