Jill Winters Named MCSO Employee of the Month in Parrish

PARRISH – Senior Enforcement Bureau Executive Coordinator Jill Winters earned the MCSO's Employee of the Month award for September 2026. The recognition celebrates her dedication and compassion following the recent death of a deputy.

Winters led the coordination of the Celebration of Life service for the fallen deputy. She worked with the deputy's family and agency members to create a tribute video with over 100 slides and music. Winters also organized the service's timing and order to honor the deputy's life, service, and sacrifice.

During the planning and execution, Winters demonstrated strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and compassion. She collaborated with local churches, the deputy's family, Family Assistance Committee members, dispatch, and the church's audio and visual team. Her coordination of these groups and anticipation of needs ensured a smooth and respectful event.

The MCSO recognized Winters for her professionalism, leadership, and commitment to the agency and its members. Her efforts provided critical support to the deputy's family and the agency during a difficult period.
