Coral Springs Charter Teachers Expand Certifications

Eleven teachers at Coral Springs Charter School are expanding their professional expertise by pursuing coursework and training for additional subject certifications. These educators are already teaching in these new subject areas while completing their requirements.

The school's Governing Board approved the teachers as "out-of-field" on Aug. 5, 2026. This designation allows them to teach subjects outside their initial certification while they work toward full certification, ensuring continuity for students.

The initiative reflects the school's commitment to staff professional development and aims to enhance educational offerings. Parents and guardians received communication about this development from the school, which emphasized the teachers' dedication to upgrading their skills and deepening content knowledge to better serve students.
