Orange County is seeking public input regarding the remaining American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. Orange County received $22.5 million in ARPA funds and has allocated a portion to various projects. Approximately $10 million remains and the County is seeking input from the community on how to best utilize these funds. The County is hosting two community meetings to gather input: Thursday, July 11, 2024 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Hillsborough Campus of Durham Tech 171 Elizabeth Brady Road, Hillsborough Monday, July 15, 2024 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Whitted Building 300 W. Tryon Street, Hillsborough Residents can also provide input through an online survey available on the County’s website.

The meeting will be held on December 12, 2024, at 7:00 PM at the OWASA Administrative Office, located at 400 Jones Ferry Road, Carrboro, NC 27510. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information about the proposed project, answer questions from residents, and gather feedback.
