Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) is reminding parents and guardians about the PayPAMS system, an online platform for student cafeteria purchases. Parents can access the system at www.paypams.com to manage student meal accounts.

Existing users should log in to www.paypams.com to verify their credit or debit card has not expired and their email address is current. Forgotten passwords can be reset using the ‘Forgot Password?’ link on the PayPAMS homepage. For assistance with the link, contact [email protected]. Users who forget their password should not register again.

PayPAMS automatically transfers remaining student balances to the next school year. If a student transfers schools within the district, balances may take one to two days to update at the new school, possibly showing as $0.00 during that period. Parents concerned about discrepancies should make a payment to ensure smooth transactions.

New users can register at www.paypams.com by clicking ‘SIGN UP NOW!’. The registration process requires selecting the state and school district, creating a username and password, and entering contact information. If the system indicates an account already exists with the same phone number or email, contact [email protected]. Account information may take one school day to appear, but payments can be made immediately after registration.

Payments made through PayPAMS typically reflect in a student's cafeteria account within one to two business days. A confirmation number and email are sent upon successful processing. Declined payments may require verification of billing information or contact with the credit card issuer. PayPAMS accepts credit and debit cards; transactions will appear as ‘PayPAMS.com’ or ‘PAMS-’ on statements.

A $2.40 convenience fee applies per student payment. However, accounts receive a $2.40 credit for payments of $40.00 or more, which can be used for any cafeteria purchase.

For refund requests, parents should email Jose Antigua at [email protected] or call 786-275-0409. For general PayPAMS system assistance, email [email protected].
