Sister Mildred Truchard, a former resident of Victoria, Texas, passed away Oct. 3, 2026, at age 89. Services are scheduled for Oct. 8 and Oct. 9 at Incarnate Word Convent.

Sister Mildred Truchard, a longtime resident of Victoria, Texas, died Oct. 3, 2026. She was 89.
Born May 13, 1937, Sister Mildred dedicated her life to her faith and community.
A rosary and visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, at Incarnate Word Convent, 1101 N.E. Water Street, Victoria, TX 77901. The visitation is from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by a wake service and sharing of memories at 6:30 p.m. at the same location.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Incarnate Word Convent. Burial will follow at Catholic Cemetery #3.
Sister Mildred Truchard is remembered by those who knew her. Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
