Brevard Public Schools Unveils 2025-2030 Strategic Plan for Academic Excellence and Community Connection

Brevard Public Schools introduced its 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, a five-year roadmap designed to empower every student in the district. The plan outlines a clear course for student success, focusing on four core commitments: Academic Excellence, Exceptional Workforce, Community Connection, and Operational Efficiency.

Superintendent Dr. Mark Mullins emphasized the plan as a collective commitment. He stated that educators, staff, families, and community partners will work together to create a future where every student is prepared for college, career, or life. This collaborative approach aims to ensure all students receive the best possible education and opportunities for growth.

The strategic plan establishes four key benchmarks to measure its success. These benchmarks include 3rd Grade Literacy, Algebra I Success, College and Career Acceleration, and Graduation Rate. These measures will guide the district's efforts and reflect its dedication to supporting students across all grade levels.

The district will focus on continuous improvement across its educational ecosystem. This includes strengthening early literacy skills and enhancing acceleration opportunities for middle and high school students.
