Trump Administration Announces 50% Tariffs on Canadian Imports

WASHINGTON – The Trump administration announced the implementation of new tariffs on various imports from Canada. These tariffs, set at 50%, will apply to an estimated $20 billion worth of Canadian goods.

Officials stated the tariffs are a response to what the administration describes as unfair discrimination against American autos, dairy products, and alcohol by Canada. The range of products affected includes items such as cement and hockey sticks.
