Wellington residents can experience an evening of illusion and dining at the Village of Wellington's 'The Mystery Behind the Magic,' an interactive entertainment event for ages 21 and older. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wellington Community Center, 12150 Forest Hill Boulevard.

'The Mystery Behind the Magic' reimagines the village's former Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, offering a celebration of magic, mentalism, illusion, dining, and intrigue. The event aims to transform the traditional format into a unique experience for the community.

Headlining the event is magician and mentalist David Frost, a recipient of international awards. Frost, ranked among the Top 3 Close-Up Magicians in North America at FISM NA 2024, will perform a show blending sleight of hand, mind-reading, psychological illusion, and modern technology. His interactive style encourages audience participation.

Guests will start with a cocktail reception and hors d'oeuvres overlooking Wellington's Town Center. Attendees will then move to the newly renovated Grande Ballroom for a three-course banquet-style dinner. Formal attire is suggested.

Tickets for 'The Mystery Behind the Magic' cost $60 per person. Seating is limited, and advance purchase is strongly encouraged. To purchase tickets or for more information, visit the village's event registration page or call 561-753-2484.
