For 2027, the BOCC has decided to given preference to initiatives and programs focused on health and human services, food insecurity, and climate and environmental sustainability. Over the past year, 25 recipients of this funding have made measurable positive impacts throughout the county. Funded programs included bilingual, theater-based afterschool programming, community education on drought mitigation, supporting survivors of assault, and providing home energy rebates. You can find more grant program success stories here.
