Tree Trimming Locations Update: 🌳Starting September 22, 2026 A city contractor will be trimming the trees that overhang the roadway on North Lake Jessup Avenue between Broadway Street and Artesia Street, beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. There will be traffic control devices in place along with a flagger for through traffic. 🌳Starting September 24, 2026 Crews will be trimming the trees that overhang the roadway on East Franklin Street between the Roundabout and SR434 on the North side of the road beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m.Traffic pattern signs and workers will be out directing drivers around the work zones with flagging and STOP/SLOW paddles, will be used while work is taking place. 🛑Please drive slowly through these areas for the safety of the workers and pay attention to the flaggers.

AMERICAN FLAG DISPOSAL The City of Oviedo Fire Department has coordinated with the local American Legion for the proper disposal of American Flags. Flags that are tattered, ragged, dirty, or torn can be dropped off at any of our Fire Station locations or the Fire Administration Office, anytime Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. View location details regarding the Fire Stations and Fire Administration Office.
