Montrose County Board of County Commissioners Public Hearing - August 7, 2024 The Montrose County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on August 7, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. in the BOCC Hearing Room, Montrose County Courthouse, 317 South 2nd Street, Montrose, Colorado, to consider the adoption of an amendment to the Montrose County Land Use Resolution regarding temporary events and camping. The proposed amendment will clarify and update the regulations for temporary events and camping on private property within Montrose County. A copy of the proposed amendment can be obtained from the Montrose County Planning and Development Department at the Montrose County Courthouse, 317 South 2nd Street, Montrose, Colorado, during regular business hours or by calling 970-249-6624. All interested parties are encouraged to attend the public hearing and provide their comments. Written comments may also be submitted to the Montrose County Planning and Development Department prior to the hearing.
