Ocala National Forest

Ocala National Forest With more than 430,000 acres, Ocala National Forest is the second largest nationally protected forest in Florida. The forest is located north of Orlando and features natural springs, lakes and hiking trails. Juniper Springs is known for its canoeing and camping. Salt Springs is a popular swimming and boating area. More than 600 lakes and springs can be found in the forest. Year-round recreation activities include camping, hiking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, hunting, and wildlife viewing.
