Mass Funeral Held in Gaza for 112 Palestinian Casualties

Gaza City held a mass funeral service for 112 Palestinians. Officials reported these individuals, members of two extended families, died in an Israeli strike in late 2023. Workers recently recovered their bodies from under rubble in the city.

The procession commenced at Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah. Mourners then transported the bodies to Gaza City for burial. Footage showed dozens of men carrying the bodies, each wrapped in white shrouds, through city streets.

Attendees at the funeral included relatives of the deceased. They walked alongside the stretchers. Some mourners shouted, while others displayed signs of distress during the procession.
