Idaho In-N-Out Shooting Victim Identified as Stockton Manager
TWIN FALLS, Idaho – Authorities have identified Ashley Garibay, a 26-year-old In-N-Out manager from Stockton, California, as one of two individuals who died in a shooting at an In-N-Out restaurant on December 20. Another person also died, and several others sustained injuries during the incident.
Garibay worked as a manager at the Stockton In-N-Out location. She had recently arrived in Twin Falls, Idaho, to assist with the opening of a new restaurant, according to reports from KCRA, an NBC affiliate in Sacramento. This new In-N-Out location was the first to open in Idaho.
The shooting took place at approximately 2:30 p.m. MST. Police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Chad Williams. Williams had previously attended the College of Southern Idaho, as confirmed by the college. Law enforcement officials arrested Williams in connection with the shooting.
Reports indicate that a civilian with a firearm confronted the shooter. This individual stated that he had undergone firearm training after a separate mass shooting event in 2021. Further details regarding the second fatality and the injured individuals have not been released by authorities.
