Update: 19 Units Now Responding to Structure Fire on 7th Street North in Saint Petersburg
Saint Petersburg emergency responders have dispatched two additional units to the structure fire at 3501 7 St N-Sp, bringing the total number of responding units to 19, according to emergency dispatch. This latest dispatch marks a continued increase in resources dedicated to the active scene.
Previously, 17 units were reported to be on site, following an earlier dispatch that increased the total from 16. The initial dispatch for the fire occurred at 1:41 AM on Friday, August 21, 2026, and included 8 units: T4, E4, D10, E10, E7, S1, R10, and LR13. Updates had subsequently indicated nine units, then 16, and then 17 before this most recent addition.
Motorists are still advised to avoid the area near 3501 7 St N-Sp and anticipate possible road closures as emergency personnel continue their work at the scene of the active fire.
