First-Generation UCF Grad Leverages AI to Boost Nonprofits’ Impact

Orlando, FL – Ketty Dones, a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida (UCF), is applying her dual master’s degrees to help local nonprofit organizations. Dones, who earned her degrees in public administration and nonprofit management in 2023, now works with the Applied AI Innovation Initiative at UCF.

Through this initiative, Dones provides technical assistance to Orlando-area nonprofits. Her work focuses on integrating artificial intelligence solutions that help these organizations advance their missions. This support aims to enhance the operational capabilities and overall impact of local groups serving the community.
