Orange County Converts Wekiwa Springs Homes to Sewer System

Orange County Utilities continues converting septic systems to municipal sewer infrastructure around Wekiwa Springs, a water quality improvement project that began in summer 2021.

The program reduces nutrient pollution entering the springs by replacing individual septic tanks with county sewer connections. Residents interested in joining the Septic to Sewer Program should contact Orange County Utilities directly.
