A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for Clarendon and Southeastern Orangeburg Counties until 11:00 AM EDT today, October 2, 2026. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Columbia, SC, reports visibility of one-quarter mile or less in dense fog.

Drivers in the affected areas, particularly on I-95 over Lake Marion, should exercise extreme caution. Low visibility can create hazardous driving conditions.

If you are driving, slow down, use your headlights, and maintain a safe following distance from other vehicles.
