Winter Garden Christmas Parade Set for December 5, 2026, in Historic Downtown

Winter Garden will host its annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 5, 2026, bringing holiday cheer to Historic Downtown. The parade, a long-standing community tradition, will kick off at 10:00 am, featuring festive entries and the anticipated appearance of Santa Claus. This free event will proceed rain or shine, inviting residents and visitors to line the streets with lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the spectacle.

The parade route begins on Dillard Street at the Palmetto Street intersection, near Wells Fargo. From there, participants will proceed north on Dillard Street before turning west onto Plant Street, making their way through the heart of Historic Downtown. The procession will conclude at Park Avenue, offering ample viewing opportunities along the route for spectators eager to catch a glimpse of the holiday floats and performers.

For those interested in participating, preregistration is required due to limited space. The deadline to submit applications for parade entries is Friday, November 13, 2026. All applicants will receive an email notification regarding their approval status. Detailed instructions concerning check-in times, staging locations, and items not permitted can be found on the official application form.

Participation in the parade comes with a unique entry fee: a donation to the Winter Garden Police Department's HOLIDAY GIFTS FOR KIDS Program. Participants can contribute toys, gift cards, checks, or cash, with donations collected at parade check-in. Checks should be made payable to WINTER GARDEN POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE, INC.
