Media Center Welcome to the Dr. Phillips High School Media Center! The mission of the Dr. Phillips High School Media Center is to provide an environment that promotes intellectual curiosity, encourages a love of reading, and teaches the effective use of information in all its formats. We strive to empower students to become lifelong learners and responsible digital citizens. Mission: To provide access to materials in all formats, to instruct students and staff on how to acquire and evaluate information, and to encourage lifelong learning. Goals: Provide intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats. Provide instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas. Work with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
