Join the community for a solemn and meaningful Memorial Day Ceremony at Jacksonville National Cemetery as we come together to honor and remember the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our country. Held in a place of deep reflection and remembrance, this ceremony offers an opportunity for veterans, families, and community members to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Through moments of silence, patriotic observances, and shared respect, we recognize the courage and dedication of our fallen heroes. This annual ceremony serves as a powerful reminder of the cost of freedom and the importance of preserving the legacy of those who served. 📍 Location: Jacksonville National Cemetery🗓 Date: Saturday, May 23, 2026⏰ Time: 9:30 AM We invite all to attend and stand in remembrance as we honor their service and sacrifice. At Micah’s Backpack Jacksonville, the mission is simple but powerful: to feed food-insecure children on the weekends. These are students identified by school counselors and teachers as consistently arriving at school hungry—often with lunch on Friday being their last meal until Monday morning breakfast.
